Sales & Outreach Coordinator - Freelance

OVERVIEW


Cazador Events is a boutique full-service event design and planning company specializing in corporate, private, and wedding experiences across Toronto. 


We’re looking for a dynamic Sales & Outreach Coordinator to help us connect with more brands, clients, and partners who align with our creative vision.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 


  • Generate new business leads through email, social media, and community outreach.
  • Follow up with warm leads from our website, Instagram, and event listing platforms (e.g., GigSalad).
  • Track all outreach activity and outcomes in our CRM system.
  • Schedule client discovery calls and support the closing of event bookings and contracts.
  • Provide weekly updates on outreach progress, new opportunities, and wins.


QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS


  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, outreach, or business development (experience in events, hospitality, or creative industries is a plus).
  • Confident and comfortable with cold outreach via email, DMs, and LinkedIn.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills — personable, persuasive, and professional.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and results-driven.
  • A natural connector who enjoys building authentic relationships.
  • Excellent follow-up and time management skills.


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION


This is a freelance position designed for flexibility and effectiveness. The successful candidate will begin under the following conditions, with the potential to grow within the role:


  • Compensation: $350-500 per month (paid biweekly or monthly). 
  • Commission-based role with performance bonuses.
  • Commitment: 5–10 hours per week.
  • Goals: Reach out to 50 high-quality cold leads per week and actively engage with potential clients in the sales pipeline.
  • Expenses: Meeting-related costs such as transportation or F&B may be reimbursed.
  • Location: Remote.
  • Schedule: Flexible, based on your availability.
